SALTCOATS
Visual identity concept for the small seaside town of Saltcoats. Inspired by the Talking Wall – a local monument showcasing people’s recollections of their time in Saltcoats – I aimed to develop a system that communicates the intimacy and sentimental value we attach to specific places through personal memories. Alluding to swimming pool tiles and the movement of water (Saltcoats was home to the famous saltwater bathing pool and swimming galas), the brand’s visual language reflects collective diversity, placing the community at the forefront.
